From Crooklyn Dub Vol. 1 to Live in Tasmania, long-time Brooklyn underground producer DJ OLIVE's records never waited for the bus. His live electronic trio We™ (from way back in the '90s) sailed Brooklyn bass music over the Atlantic. After putting out many records, collaborating with a bazilion musicians, and releasing an untold number of side projects, Olive remains raw and well under the cheese radar. He has just released his new record of bass music, “Somewhere”, on Brooklyn’s Record Blanks label featuring Christian Fennesz and Jim O'Rourke.
Olive currently enjoys mixing early House vinyl ('91-'94) when taking a break from his studio production.
