Clown Core

Clown Core

I can't explain this music to my daughter... she just thinks it's crazy noise.
"I'd say these guys are more progressive than 99% of the guys who call themselves "progressive" metal.
"Their ballads are well crafted. Their ballads are well-crafted, but the driving, blistering speed of their songs drives me crazy."
(from the Youtube comments section)

Clown Core is a unit of two clowns with sax, drums and keyboards who suddenly appeared on the scene in 2010. Their extreme sound mixes free improvisation, noise, electro, funk metal, dubstep, smooth jazz and hardcore, and in between mysterious sound logos and 8-bit chiptunes appear to tease the listener. You'd have to give up trying to put a genre tag on this kind of music.

Starting with the self-titled album "clown core" (2010), the band has regularly released albums "Toilet" (2018), "Van" (2020), and "1234 EP" (2021). The sound, which is composed of two contradictory elements of all kinds of musical elements, has created several ???? The sound of the two contradictory elements of a voracious idea + superb technique and a vile, man-eating sense of humor, has been creating and destroying the brains of many loving music fans.

For example, a visual album released on YouTube at the same time as "Toilet"
features two clowns crammed into a portable toilet, playing a session with saxophone and keyboards, and drums and keyboards (they're both two-fisted). The lyrics are not exactly mealtime fare (fortunately, the death voice makes them impossible to judge). The music is alternately "awesome" and "ridiculous," with the aggressive, fast beats that make your eyes dizzy, and the sampled sounds of motorcycle horns and farts that accompany the music.

Mozart is said to have produced many great songs as well as many corny songs, and Clown Core is another work of genius.

I would like to give FRUE one last word: "FRUE is really clownish to call Clown Core!
